Tonight is the night of the Danish Elle Awards 2013. We’re super excited that so many of our collaborators and clients are nominated. Not that we’re partial or anything, but of course we’re wishing them the best of luck!
Clockwise from top left:
LINE&JO - nominated for Jewelry Brand of the year.
We have worked with LINE&JO right from the birth of their company back in 2006, designing everything from their visual identity, website, packaging to art directing their campaigns etc. LINE&JO are some of the most progressive creative minds within their field and their impeccable style is inherent in everything they touch.
Alexandra Carl – nominated for Stylist of the year.
Last year our client Part Two came to us with the brief of art directing a concept for their new younger essential line TO. We handpicked model & stylist Alexandra Carl (who is also fashion editor at cutting edge magazine RIKA). She became the face of TO and handpicked her favorite items for the launch of the diffusion line which was an instant success.
Olivia Frølich – nominated for Photographer of the year.
We have worked with talented Olivia for many years on a variety of campaigns for our different fashion clients such as Kokoon and Rosemunde (image from their ss13 campaign underneath). She balances the feminine, sensitive and romantic with a playful, quirky and cool vibe.
Cim Mahony – nominated for Hair Stylist of the year.
We worked with Cim first back in 2008 when we art directed Day Birger et Mikkelsen’s summer campaign with Belgian beauty Elise Crombez and he continued with his magic on the following two campaigns featuring Missy Rayder (underneath). Cim is also doing the hair on all of LINE&JO’s campaigns, so we’re lucky to spend a lot of time with this extraordinary talent when he is not busy working with the likes of AnOther Magazine, Terry Richardson, i-D, Vogue Paris, Numero etc.
In love with the images AND the dresses in the new Carven campaign for Summer 2013. We’re eyeing it all up here.

We still love this Miu Miu campaign from 1996 featuring (22 year-old) Chloe Sevigny shot by Juergen Teller. Quality is timeless.

We would love to own a copy of this beautiful 2.volume collector’s item book by photographer Sebastiao Salgado.
“Of the myriad works Sebastião Salgado has produced in his acclaimed photography career, three long-term projects stand out: Workers (1993), documenting the vanishing way of life of manual laborers across the world; Migrations (2000), a tribute to mass migration driven by hunger, natural disasters, environmental degradation, or demographic pressure; and this new opus, GENESIS, the result of an epic eight-year expedition to rediscover the mountains, deserts and oceans, the animals and peoples that have so far escaped the imprint of modern society – the land and life of a still pristine planet.” (Via TASCHEN)

Cutest little photo project ever! Now released as a book.
“Maddie is a sweet-tempered coonhound who accompanied her owner, Theron, on a year long, cross-country trip while he worked on a photojournalism project. In his spare time, Theron took photos of Maddie doing what she does best: standing on things. From bicycles to giant watermelons to horses to people, there really isn’t anything that Maddie won’t stand on with grace and patience.” (via Chronicle Books)

We art directed the fresh and crisp Summer 13 campaign for beautiful fashion label Kokoon last summer with photographer Olivia Frølich and hair & make up artist Rikke Dengsø. The collection has just hit the stores and we’re swooning as usual …
