The Apartment is a new elegant concept store here in Copenhagen. Decorated like a private home – all objects for sale.
“The Apartment is a new universe of design objects, furniture, antiques and art. Innovative modern design meets the unparallelled craft of traditional furniture making, showcased in the elegant setting of an apartment in Christianshavn, in the heart of Copenhagen, handsomely restored by founders Tina Seidenfaden Busck and Pernille Hornhaver.”

How amazing is this panelling “Les Palmiers” by Jean Dunand, who is considered the greatest lacquer artist of the Art Deco period. Commisioned in 1928 for Mdme Colette Aoucaya’s Rue de Monceau apartment in Paris. It was sold at an auction held by Christie’s last March for the modest sum of € 3,113,828.

Beautiful new wallpaper by the talented Helene Blanche. We love the mixture between the hard shapes and the soft watercolour. Truly lovely.
