LOVE

Great cover on the new LOVE magazine.

The Travel Almanac

Just purchased this lovely little new magazine. Can’t wait to read it.

Listening to …

Hollie Cook. Her music is described as reggae meets tropical pop – Hollie is the daughter of notorious Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook and was before this a member of (the reformed) The Slits. Her album is cool and very enjoyable. Get it or read about it here.

Ceal Floyer

In love with artist Ceal Floyer’s work.

“The deceptive simplicity of the work is informed by Floyer’s particular sense of humour and an awareness of the absurd; her use of double-takes and shifting points of view forces the viewer to renegotiate his perception of the world. Floyer often uses everyday or readymade objects, exploring the dialectical tension between the literal and the mundane, and an imaginative construction of meaning.” (via Lisson Gallery)
