Frances Wolf

Actor Michael Pitt and his model girlfriend Jamie Bochert are quite cool.  At the Paris Fashion Week earlier this year they gave a performance with their band named Frances Wolf. We love the visuals and Jamie’s dark voice … be sure to see it here – it’s really good.

Wonderwall (1968)

Feel like watching this today. Wonderwall directed by Joe Massot, music by George Harrison, starring Jane Birkin …

Julia Hetta

Aesthetic & extremely elegant campaign shot by Julia Hetta for J. Lindeberg. Daring choice of imagery … admirable!

Christopher Walken

Beautiful photograph of Christopher Walken on the cover of Russian Esquire. He has such a great face.

Love him in this little role as Diane Keaton’s brother Dwayne in Annie Hall ….

Tassels …

Brown pumps with tassels by Cosmic Wonder.

“… Gucci Gucci Louis Louis Fendi Fendi Prada, basic bitches wear that shit, so I don’t even botha’ … “

Practical Information

In case you are still wondering about the “anonymous gift donation” policy here at LA, we’ll just clarify: YES, we do accept all Valentino SS11 dresses sent to the office – we’re both a size small, and we love the whole collection AND the shoes as well (get them at net-a-porter) Thanks! ……… (jeez, imagine that, huh?)

This is a cool bookshelf! It is from Alexandre de Betak’s house in Majorca and a little nod to artist Donald Judd. Alex de Betak is a famous events-producer, art director and stage designer (working for the likes of Dior, Rodarte and commonly known as the Fellini of fashion) See the whole series about his extravagant house here.

“But ask de Betak if the undulating surfaces — there’s hardly a right angle in the place — are meant to evoke the spirit of Antoni Gaudí, and he laughs and concedes that the influence is more like Barbapapa …”

And want to eat at Stella Maris in Paris. Now!
