Irma Boom vs. Hella Jongerius

We recently purchased the book “Hella Jongerius – Misfit” designed by one of the most talented and influential female graphic designers today: (especially when it comes to books) the Dutch Irma Boom. It is a stunning book showcasing her fellow dutch(wo)man designer/artist Hella Jongerius‘ amazing body of conceptual work within the field of product design, textile design and colouring schemes, ceramics etc. Super inspiring book on all levels. Get it here.

Climbing monkeys

Ohhhhh what we wouldn’t give to have our LA bathroom decked out in this handpainted “Deco Monkey” wallpaper from de Gourney. The nice people at Tapet Café sell it.
