Mama mia, we are thrilled with this lovely tea house. Built by Japanese architect Terunobu Fujimori. Apparently a traditional tea house is supposed to be self-constructed and very tiny, and this has been taken very literally here. Terunobu built this house for himself in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, and named it “Takasugi-an”, which means “Too Tall”. See another of his projects here, “Yakisugi House”, a charcoal house. Untraditional genius!
